Other Scanning Centers

We are a cardiac centre run and staffed by doctors and medical professionals.  The in-house team consists of doctors, specialist cardiologists, specialist radiologists and technicians.

Many scanning centres are staffed by only radiologists, limiting the range of cardiac services.

The department is a working cardiac unit covering all areas of cardiology (scans, medical examinations, tests, consultations).

Most scanning centres only carry out scans.

The department is located within The Wellington Hospital London. The hospital offers world-class medical services.  Other specialists are on site should they berequired.  The hospital has a state-of-the-art emergency services. 

Often independent scanning centres have no back-up services.

We are closely tied with other specialist doctors and GPs.  We accept patient referrals as well as walk-in clients.  We are also able to refer patients to the right  specialist within both the national health service (NHS) and private sector. 

No follow up services are offered after the scan.
